Precision’s Telecommunications BackOffice Solution (TBS) enables service-provider clients to track critical business information (CRM), automate and manage workflow (Tasks), provide accurate and timely invoicing (Billing) and fuel sales growth (Channel Support). These core modules coupled with our integration options provide a very powerful and flexible system to help communications companies succeed.

Precision also provides business and software development expertise to help clients get the most out of TBS. When these optional services are requested, Precision will work with the client to scope the project, provide alternative approaches and help determine the business value of the proposed project. These services include:

Training – During the initial setup and installation of TBS, client will receive a list of training seminars based on their configuration. Training is typically scheduled over a one (1) month period and will cover all system tools. All training seminars are customized to the Client and are recorded for future reference. Once all training seminars are complete, the client is considered out of "setup mode". Therefore, additional questions should be submitted as requests to your Client Solutions Expert.

Business Process Consulting – TBS is pre-configured with a standard set of process and workflow options that can be used out of the box. During training, users will be taught how to use the TBS Administration tools to customize process and workflow options. If additional support or consulting is desired, Precision can provide business consulting experts to assist with advice on best practices, customizing processes and help with configuration.

Data Conversions into TBS – Precision can provide technical expertise in order to efficiently migrate data from other systems and/or data sources into TBS with a high level of quality. We have performed several hundred system migrations and have a proven process to:

  • Accept data in various formats,
  • import the data into a “test” TBS system,
  • perform quality assurance on converted data,
  • process parallel bill run(s) to ensure accuracy.

We develop the migration process so that the entire process is repeatable and leads to a smooth “cut over” when it is time to go live.

Development and Customization – Precision provides system development and customization to the client on a per project basis. Project requests are handled on a per project basis and include requirements, scope of work, quote, standing status meetings, and final approval by the Client.

All projects are managed by PMI Certified Project Managers to ensure projects are completed on-time and on-budget.
